All of us at Rochdale RUFC are heartbroken to share that our M&J Chairman Duncan Ogilvie very sadly passed away yesterday. As you know Duncan was our lead for our U17’s Junior colts, having managed and coached them from U6’s, and was a passionate supporter of grassroots rugby. It is with great sadness that we have to let you know of the passing of Bill Hopkinson (Hoppy). As a valued member of our rugby club, he was RRUFC Club Captain 1964-67 and Club President 1995-97. Funeral will take place on Weds 30th April at 10.30am at Rochdale Crematorium followed by drinks at the club.
