Further to the previous notification of our father’s passing, his funeral took place in his beloved Bratton Clovelly on the 8th May.
The family did not expect his friends and colleagues from the north of the country to travel all the way to Devon. Instead, we have arranged an informal get together at Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club on the 27th June from 7pm. This is an open invitation to friends of the family and members of the rugby club, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Todmorden Cricket Club and Bamford Fieldhouse Cricket Club. As we say, an informal get together, so informal dress. Again, if you need more details – just ask.
